Submitting Specimens

-    Tissues should be submitted in 10% neutral buffered formalin
-    Maintain an appropriate 10:1 formalin to tissue ratio for proper fixation
-     Steps for specimen submissions

                1. Place specimen in tightly sealed formalin-filled container
                2. Place formalin container inside sealed plastic bag
               
                3. Place plastic bag in postage paid crush proof cardboard box with absorbent towel
               
4. Please combine multiple biopsies in one mailing box
                5. Apply return address and seal tightly with tape!
                6. Do not allow tape to cover postage stamps or they are considered void
                7.
Mail via US Postal service
                8. Confirmation delivery may be added at your post office
